When we released the Android app we certainly wanted the Apple iOS application to be next but there are many reasons we will not be offering the application - and none of these have anything to do with any legal issues or moral issues against Apple.

WE WILL Publish The Department of Justice Letter

Where's the Android app?
Hello all
I received a couple of emails regarding the WordswithMeaning app for Android and as you have probably read - we were taken down from U.S. servers last week and as a result, we were also suspended from the Google Developers programme after the allegations from the U.S. government were forwarded to Google.
We are currently attempting to appeal this decision, but we don’t know how...

Firstly, I want to thank you all for the support and good luck wishes that we received during the dispute.
As of Friday January 20th 2012, Apple’s legal firm reached an agreement with WordswithMeaning! admins and our lawyers. The image will remain un-touched and the copyright breach claims have dropped.

The WordswithMeaning! SOPA & PIPA blackout is over, the protest lasted 24 hours and more than 40,000 visitors saw the campaign.
The site is now back and operating as usual…for now

On the 18th of January 2012, between 8:00AM - 8:00PM (server time) the WordswithMeaning.org site will be unavailable. If the SOPA passes in the U.S then get used to it. The internet will be censored and this will concern every reader no matter where they live and access the site from.

We Want to Hear from Rodney Elkass' Family (Castle...
We covered the story regarding a man in Castle Hill, Sydney (where our office HQ is) who was shot by police whilst travelling to report a colleague at the police station.
60 days later, it would seem that a media blackout occurred and that WordswithMeaning! were the last to cover the story, which we claimed was an unjustified shooting.

Our backup server is located in the vicinity of Thailand and Bangkok and our Tech Support Team believes that due to natural disaster, that server is also down.
The WwM! Discussion Board has been a secret plan for the last 4 months or so, we have been testing it out and although we aren’t sure if the project will ever be available publicly we would love to know your input and suggestions.
